    Under Observation
Yea the peacock charm BCNM. I saw a shout by JP today for 3xBlm with stonega 2. Out of curiosity I grab the scroll from AH and joined them. Has to be the quickest and easiest run I've ever had (not that his BC is hard to begin with anyway ^-^; )

We timed our stonega 3, blink up and turned back to the BC. first cast killed the 2 mobs and the NM down to about 50%
Then just nuke the NM until it dies which is pretty quick.

Probaby nothing new but I was impressed ^^b

The most important question should be if you got the drop or not. :p

Think a Nin and 2 Blms can handle this? I want to try this (peacock charm ¤_¤!), but I don't have Blm 40+ and I'm not a very magi type of player >,<. So I was thinkin' I'll go as Nin instead...

Maybe 2 Blms do Stonega II and then I can voke the NM or something...and they can Stonega II again >,>; or something lol. Just wanna know if you think we could manage or if it's too dangerous.

I've been doing this for a while now. I swear, whenever you manaburn a BCNM, I believe the drop rate percent is decreased. I'd like to test this, but so far, I'm:

0/15 on Peacock Charm by Manaburning it.

A friend of mine is 1/4 when doing the NIN NIN RDM version.

I'm currently 2/2 on the KSNM30 Operation Desert Swarm. I've seen the Venomous Claw drop a total of 5 out of 11 times I've done the BCNM. I did this with NIN DD/NIN DD/NIN RDM BLM WHM(Me).

A friend of mine is 0/10 on the BCNM, when manaburning it.

I believe that after a certain amount of time spent in the BCNM, the drop rate on certain items increases. But then again, it's just a theory of mine with not enough evidence to back up my claims.

My LS does regular runs of Under Observation. They either use the 2 NIN 1 RDM method, or they go with 3 BLMs, with the stipualtion that said BLMs have Stonega II. Otherwise you probably won't win.

Sometimes they've gotten very lucky (2 PC, 3 Erase, 2 NI in three runs) and others have gone 10+ times without any worthwhile drops.

I'm up to 400 seals now. I just need to get a job to 40 and try my luck (although I'm going to keep other BCNMs in mind).

                    Re: stonega 2 usefulness {Found it}

I'm already 0/7 something doing it with nin nin rdm too. xD
So I don't think set up really affects the rate. It just has crappy drop rate.

Knowing you, you'll be able to do BCNM40 as a BST, BRD, RDM, WHM, BLM *AND* NIN by the time you get around to doing one.

I do this run quite often (Have gotten the charm once), and the set up I've never failed with is NIN/WAR, NIN/RDM, RDM/BLM. If you read this, and are interested in the strategy, PM me and I'll explain it to you.

EDIT: Oh, didn't read down... I see it has already been mentioned.

I've been working off my beasmen seals like this. My linkshell is BLM heavy. So far out of 5 runs, we've gotten erase and utsusemi:ni. Both of which have significantly dropped in price since the last time I did a BC40. (About half the price.)
